GAME ENTRY 15 // "IN MY HOUSE ON THE MOUNTAIN" // JAN. 28-FEB. 3, 2008

How long has it been since anyone saw Barry Dawson, anyway? Well, the reason has become clear, and Chief Peel isn't happy about it. Officer Syzmanski was physically ill when he and Sgt. Brooks found the remains. Chief Peel has a suicide note and a dead murder suspect, now.

What about the leakage from Starre's basement? James Coulter's career is at stake, and Lyndon Greene may have thrown away the best thing that ever happened to him. What more will the prisoner's influence cause?

Speaking of Lyndon, Ms. Clavell has yet to get around to him. Will he be ready for her questions, or will his newfound . . . assertiveness cost him votes?

Who else is concerned with the election? Tacoma seems to have found a willing campaigner in Ulva, who isn't old enough to vote. Charles has Harry to back him up. With the campaign closed to new candidates, two will win . . . and one will lose. How will he - or she - take it?

If Rose has found the nerve to take a certain test, how will she take it? Is it plus or minus? Pink or blue? One line or two? If her worst fears are confirmed, will she take after Susan Eidelman, Ulrika Christiansen, or someone else altogether? For now, only Rose knows.

It looks like the Cougar Ridge Community Theater is about to lock in their choice, so we'll see if they survive the season.

And then there's that scrap of paper found in the street. . . . It's from a well-known private diagnostic laboratory. The results were positive, but the name, address, and illness are missing. Who has what, and is it contagious?
