Rocky Mountain High
So yesterday the family took a day trip into the Rockies - WOW!
This is the highest elevation I have ever been. I currently live 142 feet above sea level, which is the highest I have ever lived. I was born in Corpus which is about 11ft above and lived in Beaufort which is about 22ft.
The Rockies were something else! MJ did all the driving, as I have enough problems with snow (having always lived in a tropical climate), much less throwing some altitude problems in there.
We all had a great time with the beauty of the mountains, harassing MJ about his speed, and looking at the caribou, deer, chipmunks and the singular moose. I accidentally hit sm with my first snowball (I was aiming for the car window) and I spent a lot of time just being glad to have this family.
