Charles is a knight-for-hire, so of course I'm down for a forbidden romance with a woman of a higher station - the unhappy wife of the man who's hired him? Sister or daughter that wants nothing to do with their upcoming arranged marriage and see him as a means to escape?
Also into the idea of lovers torn apart by war who reunite when he comes limping home again. Or the idea of being captured and forced into servitude with trust and feelings growing from there.
I'd even also love to place him in a brothel type setting after capture for the same. I might love angst, but ultimately what I'm looking for is a happy ending.
