An unexpected score, at an unexpected time...

After realizing how long this post was, I figured I'd spare those who don't want to bother reading any of my stupid sh*t and cut it. For those who do want to bother, enjoy!

My harrowing GRE tale... )

Congrats! I had a similar experience with the logic section (they use some other fancy word for it which I have forgotten). I kept doing horribly on the practice tests for that section. When I got to the exam they were giving a duplicate of one section for evaluation purposes, but you couldn't know which one of your duplicates was going to be scored. They, of course, gave me duplicate logic sections, and in the end I got a 780. Like, damn. I'm pretty sure that one number got me into grad school.

I could probably be talked into heading to the beer hall tonight.

That section used to be the "Analytical" section, but they've replaced it with the "Analytical Writing" section which I find unfortunate. I'd have much preferred a set of logic puzzles to an on-the-spot essay on something that I don't give two sh*ts about.

So what do I need to do to talk you into tonight?

Depends on how late I stay at work, actually. I should stay until after 7. I may not. Either way, I should be able to meet you down there. Same time, same place?
