My arms still hurt...
The last time I moved, I had pictured it going something like this. It didn't and all was well.
This past weekend I moved into my first and last 3rd story place. Ugh. The place is fantastic and I'm going to enjoy my time there, but moving in there was awful. The washer, dryer, queen-sized bed, sofa bed, 27" TV and other assorted heavy stuff proved to be very difficult to move. Much food and liquor was purchased as a small show of appreciation for those who helped out. Thank you all again.
So it's back to the grind here at work as I try to chase down another second job, get started on the actuarial exam, fill out my teaching application, and try to unpack and enjoy the first apartment I've ever had all to myself. Should be busy.
The housewarming will be in a few weeks. I'll be sure to whip up an e-vite.
