Yes its sooo true. me and my friend kristen were going to the subway to head back to her dorm and she has a unlimited card for the train. well we thought nothing about it aand so we both used the same card. welllll.... thats a big no no here. there was 2 cops right next to the gates and they saw us plan as day. so they pulled me over cause i was the one that didn't have a ticket thing and kristen was walkin away and hadn't noticed that i was pulled over, so i started to yell her name. The first cop that we had talked to was a tall black man that was a true meanie weenie. He was a true new york cop. I told them that i was sorry and he just yelled at me and told me that i wasnt and made me stand in this corner thing while i talked to another cop giving him my name, address, phone #, parents names. After all the questions i was serously convinced that i was going to have a record for cheating the big apples subway stations out of their hard earned 2 lousy dollars. but when i was talkin to him i told him that it was the first time taking the subway and i wasnt from here. then he was way more understanding then the other cop he was just a ton nicer then the other cop. but thats the highlight of the day.
i've seen a ton of things since the last time that i had updated. i finally have seen the prettiest view of the city in the world. ill get a picture of that soon. here in a few minuets im going to go see the statue of liberty ive seen ground zero (i think ive mentioned that before) oh yeah went to central park and kinda got lost but saw the statue of Balto the sled dog and a cool homeless person! talk about having fun!ohh yeah i went shoppin a couple days ago to this really really cool store and i got caught in the rain walking home cause i didnt have a enough money to get a cab. but it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be cause it was really hot the last couple days so it felt nice.
thats another thing we all got out of class a few times early cause it was too hot in the building. being so hot it makes it hard to do turns and stay hydrated,lol. well ill update later
