[locked to Sam]

Luka has been up for several hours already, anxiety over what this trip will involve keeping him awake. He knows it's going to be awkward for both him and Sam, not to mention that the reason they're traveling to Princeton comes with its own set of worries.
As he drives to Sam and Alex's new apartment, though, he can't help a feeling of muted excitement at the promised prospect of father/daughter time on the plane. Sam has told him she's planning on sleeping through the entire flight, and he's looking forward to spending some much-missed time with his unborn child, as crazy as other passengers might think he is.
He pulls up to the apartment building and parks in the street before jogging up to the front door and ringing the buzzer for Sam's unit. He stomps his feet as he waits in the early morning cold.
