It's about flipping time.

After almost 3 years of living in Alberta, I FINALLY have enough money bring Ariel to Alberta. We've tentatively found a home for her (outside board only, but I'd rather have her here and living outside than rotting with nobody to love her in a barn in New Brunswick!) I think winters in New Brunswick are way worse than winters here anyway ... I'm so excited to bring her here and get back into riding!!! I rode for ONE WEEK last year. That's it. Just when I was home for my sister's wedding - and only 2 or 3 days, I think, for maybe an hour at a time. How pathetic is that?!?

The only qualm I have is the fact that moving Ariel here more or less means I'm an Albertan for good. I really had no intention of living in Alberta permanently when I moved here. I was going to go to school and then move back to Freddy ... which is still something I'd like to do. Alberta's okay but I HATE Edmonton ... it's disgusting and dirty and just ... gross. And expensive. You could build a brand new 4 bedroom house on an acreage for half of what we're paying for a tiny condo in a ghetto part of the city. I'd much rather have something I want if I'm going to have a mortgage for 40 years, ya know? I wish I could find Nathan a job in NB. Hmm ...
