huh.
yesterday morning jef walked the dogs with me because he had a day off. after we crossed the bridge (where we usually part ways), there were 3 offleash dogs, one of which was a pup. i walked with jef and charlie, taking maggie down by the riverside where she'd be too distracted to freak out and after we were past, i handed maggie's leash to jef and walked back the way we'd come. i approached the lady with the pup and said "did you know that the town has 13 offleash dog parks?" "yeah?" she says. "yeah, and there's one right down the end of the park there, it's fenced in and everything. it's not legal to walk your dog offleash in this park." "oh, right." ....
we saw 3 dogs this morning, all on leash. maggie did great. she started to woof at one shep mix across the river but stopped and gave me attention when i "ah"ed her. yay for maggie!
last night, my downstairs neighbors had this exciting plumbing problem where the hot water was running in their bathtub and they couldn't turn it off. they called a plumber, but they didn't manage to show up until this morning. i was getting ready to brush my teeth before i left the house and ... the plumbers had turned the water off! i felt so weird leaving the house with dirty teeth. i just had a bagel, gonna brush my teeth now.
