also from his king day, right after getting home. the rescue is using a low cost spay/neuter clinic in rhode island. spays and neuters are pretty much all they do and they're great. the puppies i've taken there have all recovered very quickly, so i don't think they anesthetize them for very long which is a good thing for the babies.
this is his family. the woman has two chihuahuas (who were pretty horrified by joe at their meet) and the guy wanted a dog for "him." i don't think these people are actually smart enough for this dog (seriously, he's second only to reggie in the brains department as far as my fosters go), but they are very happy with him regardless.
out of all of our fosters, joe was totally up there in the top of the pile. he was a joy to have around. his only behavior issue was wanting to be with people too much (he would scream and scream if people weren't paying attention to him).
