the antibiotics have had an incredible effect on charlie. he is totally normal! i fucking love modern medicine.
there were fireworks (just a couple) last night and cammie barked like crazy at them and maggie joined in and they both barked and barked and barked, but settled pretty quickly. i was actually able to stop maggie from shaking by holding her head in a particular way (nestling her snout in my neck and resting my head on her head) so that's good. jef and i were joking about valentine's day fireworks and martin luther king day fireworks this morning. this neighborhood is weird sometimes.
jef's dad is here and went to work with jef who is working a half day today. they leave tomorrow afternoon.
