so its truly stupid that i dont know how to view more of my friends entries then like 6 at a time.
GAY!
anyway, i just feel like the past few days have made enough of an impact for me to share them with... my computer. anyway, yes. i have a new energy, which is very similar to my old one but better. i'm more balanced, and don't ask me how i came to this place b/c i couldn't tell ya. i just forced myself here i guess. way to go me! i am a master.
so our house is super cute! we still have some more shit to put away but i love it more and more every time i come here and when i wake up and walk around. i keep thinking of stupid cute things to do to/with it.
we did yard work the other day. bought a rake and some shears and then raked the yard and sheared the hedges. i guess that appropriate. which brings me to tonight actually. we didnt have bags for the leaves when we raked the yard so we got some the next day. we've been so busy that past couple weeks with just random engagements that all this yard work is having to be done at night, past sundown. none of it is loud, but i think the neighbors noticed and maybe feel bad for us. we raked one night, and bagged the next night but so many leaves had fallen during those two times that we had to re-rake all over again. thus, i left a pile for the next day. still do busy the next day to do anything about it, we were planning on doing it when we put up the last of our lights, also done over 2 separate nights. so when we pulled up to the house tonight from out long day, i glanced to the corner of our lawn that should have had the last pile in it, and it wasn't there. nor was there a single leaf on the grass, or any of my clippings left. my first thought was maybe since that cold front blew in, the wind just tossed them all away. no, SOMEONE did that shit for us while we were gone. hahaha what the hell?!?! i honestly don't know how to feel about that. and we know it is our neighbor guy cause he is just way to damn helpful. but seriously, i think he wants us to think that we have like yard elves or something that sneak in when we're away and do our yard work for us! thats great man. i need to go over and thank him. we still tried to put up the rest of the lights tonight, finished that, and i've been so excited this past week with this project to see if finished cause i'm such a dork for holiday decorations that it was only even funnier when none of the fucking plugs fit the extension cords! NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT THIS!! now we have to spend EVEN MORE MONEY to find adapters for this shit. i swear this cute little house is turning into a money pit.
so heres a couple more tangents about that.
a- the money pit. if anyone out there is studying real estate and knows if there is any way we can have ALPS, the leasing company, legally removed as the people our lease is through without the hassle of having to move out of our house, that would be some valuable information to me. they dont cash checks for 2 weeks, they dont return calls for 1 week, and this house was in poor condition when we got it, that we are putting large amounts of money into that we shouldn't have to be, not for renting it at least. is there any way i can contact the real owners of the house? cause that would be great. yeah, dont ever rent anything if its through Austin Landmark Property Service. they suck so much and they are so aware of it that there is even a disclaimer on their website about how their shit is weak. thank you, and screw them.
b- our neighbor. so the almost very last night of moving stuff, namely when we moved the big stuff in a stayed here our first night, we had some big guy friends of ours help us out. one was huge to do the heavy lifting. the other had a truck so we could move our precious tv safely and securely. so 10 o'clock rolls around and we're done. the neighbor has already come over to introduce him self by alerting us that trash day is tomorrow and we should get it out tonight if we can. how nice. so we go to see our friend off and his truck won't start. he tries it a few times and its not even turning over its just doing that clicky thing. sure enough neighbor guys walks over with his beer and mentions he heard the clicking. we mention we have no jumper cables and no car (just the uhaul) and the other guy had just left like 2 minutes ago. over the next hour or so our brand new neighbor brings over cables, jumps the truck, lets the guy borrow his portable car battery charger and extension cables to plug it is, jumps it again, helps him remove the old battery and leaves the tools for him to be able to put the new one in when we get back. (from wal mart which we all rode to in the uhaul) we finally get to our car, wal mart, get the battery , drop off the uhaul, and back to the house at 2. thankfully neighbor is asleep and wont try to do any more favors to make us all feel even worse. so, when trying to put in the new battery, every time it touched or connected without being completely tightened, the alarm would go off. so about a dozen times at 2 in the morning the first night in our house, we're setting off this truck alarm. and it just gets even weirder from there. i... just cant believe it.
so off that and back to now. yesterday was interesting. we were invited to a party to watch the welterweight fight. i've never watched a fight before so that was cool. everyone there was super sweet, it was the first time in a long time i'd been to a party where i really only knew who i came there with. but the dude throwing the party had a pygmy goat named ricky bobby! OMG HE WAS SO CUTE! he kept ramming people with his little head and his little horns. i want one now. but that was first. then there was someone there that i knew and it was sort of weird but not really. great cookies. mmmmmm.
then today i went to one of the therapists houses to help her with her ipod and man was it cute. the drive was nice cause our side of town is awesome. her animals are all beautiful. and it was fun. i like hanging out with her. i hope i was also able to help her with a few other things. we were gonna trade out but i had no time. as i was leaving is when the weather shifted and man was that beautiful. i need to make her some cd's...
we got too busy yesterday to go to the DeafACT play so i decided to go today. funny thing is our teacher told us all to go Saturday so i was sad that i might not see any of them. turns out they all went today too. that was a cool surprise. one of the guys from my class prior to this one pretty much offered me a job to interpret at soon as i get certified. cool! man the play was super funny and those kids were so cute. our teacher told us to go b/c his daughter was in it and she was great but he wasn't there. boo. i also ran into someone i used to work with. it is a small ass world believe me, i dont claim to know a whole lot of people, but through my experiences i've learned that it is borderline scary, and almost but always never a surprise any more just how small and connected it all is.
this guy at work keeps bringing me stuff to borrow that he thinks i may be interested in (and very much so am) but i have found nothing to bring for him. he's really super cool though.
i've sort of began a new project that is going to be very good for me on, oh, at least 4 levels. so thats also something to look forward too. i dunno i guess this weather just brings out the best (breast too haha bbbrrrr) in me. suppose i hibernate during the summer and just skim by on the lowest levels of everything possible. oh well, thanks for "listening" or whatever. hope youre all doing well also.
we've got a 3rd bedroom so once all the junk is cleared out maybe you can drop by for a night. yes, you!!!!!
