So, this guy called last week and asked for me, I confirmed that he got the right person, and then he decided he had the wrong number. No biggie, right? So, tonight at 11pm, my phone rings.
Guy: "Is this Alee?"
Me: "Yes."
Guy: "This is Danny calling from the Department of Motor Vehicles. I'm calling concerning your license."
Me: (ROLLING MY EYES BECAUSE IT'S 11PM AND I KNOW I'M BEING SCREWED WITH) "What about it?"
"Danny": "It's suspended."
Me: "Excuse me?"
"Danny": "... Is this Alee, Jimmy's girlfriend?"
Me: "Nooo..."
"Danny": "OH MY GOD. I am SO SORRY."
Me: "That's okay!"
"Danny": "Thanks for not being mad. You have a good night, okay? I'm sorry!"
Haha. Oh. My. God. That was just too funny. How many people dial the wrong number to prank call someone and get someone with the /same name/ as the person they're trying to prank? Poor bastard.
