She's joining a kombucha cult. Kombucha is a type of cultured drink which is very healthy and beneficial to the body. The specific cult name is Kombucha de Organica. Because they like organic kombucha.
LOL - just joking. Kombucha is a neat drink, but there is no cult. That I'm aware of. Maybe there are some crazies who idolize kombucha - who knows...
I was once close to the point of idolizing Kombucha myself. Here's some fun factoids on Kombucha that you might not have known:
Kombu-cha
Kombu = Japanese for Algae or Fungus.
Cha = Japanese for tea (although derived from the very similar Chinese word - Cha). It's from this that the British slang for tea comes.
i.e "Put kettle on nt make us a cuppa cha would ya luv?"
Many people make the mistake of calling it Kombucha-tea, which is grammatically incorrect.
Another common misconception about Kombucha is that it is an algae or fungus (as it’s name would suggest). The starter cultures are often called Kombucha mushrooms, however the culture is primary made up of various bacteria and yeasts. (So no Kombucha on Pesach!!!!)
I went away one time without feeding my Kombucha culture, and it died. I was very sad. I need to get another one before I die.
HAVE A NICE LIFE!

P.S. Gmail isn’t working, I hate it when that happens.
