Post-wedding, More feet!

Wedding went well. No horrible disasters and I should have some pics to post within a few days. We all met at the Barnes and Noble and my mom gave me my bouquet that she'd picked up for me. It was way bigger than I'd been expecting but it was pretty. It's hanging from the hook in front of our fireplace at the moment because I'm hoping it'll dry well.
After we finished the super quick ceremony we all went a few doors down to the McCormick and Schmick for dinner and it was soooooo gooooood. Nom nom nom!
His family wanted to go do some pictures so we went to a place nearby that had a good place for it, which worked out well because it turned out that he'd actually gotten us a room in the attached hotel for the night ^_^
The next day we wandered around the shopping center that's right there fora while (got him a nice pen and me a cute hat ^_^). Over all it was a really nice night and next day.

My ankle is oh so slowly healing. Attilla (Sports Med/PT/Massage therapy doctor friend) looked at it last night and was mightily impressed. He said that he'd never even heard or read of someone jacking up their ankle quite as well as I have.
So your ankle has 5 ligaments running down the outside and a group of 3 on the inside. One of the most common things to injure is one or more of the outside ones because generally ankle injuries are from rolling it under towards the inside. This stretches and stresses those outside tendons. Much more rare is to stretch out the 3 on the inside of the ankle. It's a lot harder to roll your ankle to the outside because of the bone structure and what not. Usually it will just break if there's enough stress to roll it all the way out.
I managed to mess up ALL of the outside AND ALL of the inside ligaments. He said it looks like my ankle started to roll out first but my muscles caught it only to roll it way the heck in.
There's also a big ole something or other that runs in a fan shape on the bottom of your foot from your heel out to the front of yout foot and when you take a step is basically stores up a little bit of energy that it then releases when you push off at the end of the step. Because I've been walking all oddly it hasn't really been releasing all the energy. So I've been cranking it up and cranking it up and cranking it up and not releasing this energy so that muscle was all tight and gnarley. He worked on it on and off for most of practice last night and it's much better now.

I have a set of exercises to do at home and I'm supposed to ice it more and we're going to get together once a week so he can work on it. I'm also going to make the orthopedic doctor actually stay and talk to me when I go see him on Tuesday. I'm sick of this paying $50 for a 4 minute visit where he doesn't really do anything.

ALSO I have the bestest boy evar. He just stopped by work and dropped off the new Puzzle Quest game for me. I win so hard! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^!!!!!!
