Birthday update

Well, yesterday was my birthday. I don't really feel any older, and the day didn't feel too different from any other. I guess the older you get, the less birthdays seem different from any other day.

I had to work, and I had to work late, which sucked. But I did get a nice surprise: Aaron stayed home from class with me, and gave me the Phantom movie soundtrack and pearl earrings. We had a quiet evening watching the AFI's 100 greatest movie quotes. There were some good quotes, although we both feel it was a crime that the Princess Bride was left out entirely. It was a good evening.

We also got a camcorder yesterday. Yippie! It was a birthday gift from my family. Now we can record all sorts of things, although I'm sure Cordy will be the main subject.

Hmmm...what else is new in life? Cordelia made her first sign in sign language this weekend. She made the sign for milk - of course, her favorite thing. :) I was so happy to see her do it, though - it shows that she is comprehending what we're teaching her, and now she's starting to communicate back to us in return.

Still no crawling from our little girl yet, although she is standing with support. Nico and Judith are loaning us a ton of toys that Paul has outgrown and Kate doesn't need yet. So far we have the Leapstart Table, and Cordy loves it!

As for me, the job is going well. I'm still in training, although I'm looking forward to my normal hours soon.I've been a little stressed at figuring out a balance with the new schedule, but I think it'll settle down in a month or so.

That's about it for me. Things are kinda boring with me right now.
