TRAINED BLACK LACE EVENING GOWN with SEQUINS, c. 1905. 2-piece dotted net with lace insertions and velvet trim over cream silk faille: Boned square neck front closing bodice with puffed shoulder, ruffled 3/4 sleeve decorated with sequins, velvet bands and shell pattern lace. Skirt with two wavy bands of floral lace, ruffled hem with velvet bands. Petersham stamped "L. A. Colt Cambridge".

TRAINED LACE on NET WEDDING GOWN, EARLY 20th C. Boned bodice with short puffed sleeve gathered into a wide band trimmed with ribbon and two rhinestone circles, open neck and back with rhinestone and bow details, full skirt with double scalloped hem, decorated with lace swags, medallions and floral sprays, lined in cream taffeta, back hook & eye closures.

CATHERINE DONOVAN TRAINED SILK BROCADE BALLGOWN, 1890's. 2-piece cream and gold brocade in tassel pattern, sleeveless, boned, back-lacing bodice with three scarlet velvet shoulder bows, satin applique, gold thread & sequins, lace. Skirt front having two satin gores draped with velvet ribbon and bows.

BLACK SEQUINNED NET EVENING GOWN with TRAIN, c. 1900. 2-piece black net over cream silk taffeta, the bodice having ecru lace on net sleeve and neckline inset, black velvet cummerbund and shoulder straps having jet bead and sequinned drops, back closure, skirt having allover sequin decoration, black lace hem ruffle. Said to have belonged to Sarah Bernhardt. Bust 36, waist 20, skirt length 42-52.

TRAINED LACE on NET HIGH NECK GOWN, c. 1904. 2-piece cream net with 3/4 balloon sleeve, floral applique lace with cloverleaf lattice over boned silk bodice, chiffon under skirt with pleated hem ruffle, silk lining.

LACE HIGH NECK TEA GOWN, 1900's. White cotton batiste 1-piece lavishly decorated with tucks, embroidery, and various laces, elbow length sleeve, shell buttons at back.

PRINTED SILK HIGH NECK GOWN, c. 1902. 2-piece with blue and white abstract printed and tucked silk panels with bands of scrolling floral cream lace, boned long sleeve bodice with ruffle at elbow, slightly trained skirt, lined in cream silk with hem ruffle.

TRAINED HIGH NECK LACE on NET TEA GOWN, EARLY 20th C. Cream cotton net, the floral decorated bodice having lace neck insert and trim to three quarter sleeve, lappet front, back hook and eye closure, skirt embroidered with bands of clover alternating with ribbons, roses and lace insertion above scrolling border and deep hem flounce.
