Note: DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ HARRY POTTER #6 YET (AND DON'T WANT IT SPOILED).
Finished HP6 yesterday. I am most grieved -- not because Dumbledore died, but because of who killed him.
Oh Snapey, what have you done?!? :(
My favorite character of all children's literature is now, finally, definitively the Bad Guy.
Unless it was all a big misunderstanding, and he's doing super-undercover reconnaissance and had no choice but to kill Dumbledore -- he (Dumble.) was hinting at his imminent death, and of himself being of less "value" than Harry, throughout the book. Maybe he told Snape to kill him instead of letting Malfoy do it, if it came down to that? And that's why Snape was able to make the Unbreakable Vow to Narcissa? hmmm...
Wow I'm a dork. Can't wait for The Goblet of Fire to come out in November, though. Hopefully there will be lots of Snape on-screen time. :-P
