Jingle Bell Rock has more versions, I think, so there's a higher chance of hearing it. Although I wouldn't mind avoiding Holly Jolly Christmas, either. Perhaps I should carry around earplugs for the rest of the month.

They're capitalizing on a popular model, I suppose. It's safer financially to remake an old favorite than chance a new song which might not take off.
