Just came back from bellydancing class. I love it more and more. I really have to start practising now. Those shimmies are not gonna get done by miracle. The important part now is to exagerate the moves a lot so I "break in" my muscles. My knitting is comming along nicely too. I started a new project: a scarf. Easy enough, except I'm working with the yarn from Hell. I did a bit of knitting with Heather today, before our bellydance class. Of course, we bumped into Seb, which seems to be a habit now. Yay for accidental stalking. There's another friend with whom I do that all the time. Love it. I decided I was going to catch up with my reading. I have so many books that I have been reading this past year. Putting them down and start reading something else. I have just too many on the go. The thing is that they are not really "fun" reading. A few of them are really dry! I've got a good dent in most of them though. I'm just really stubborn; I can't stand not finishing something I started.
So this is the ridiculous pile:
Top to bottom: What colour is your parachute; Excuse me, your life is waiting; Civilization and it's enemies; Lafontaine-Baldwin Lectures; The Idiot (Dostoievsky); Lenin's Tomb; Mary Magdalene, a Biography. *phew! wipes brow*
side view showing how far I am:
Hopefully I will have half those done by the end of the summer.
