Hinata Hyuga Shippudden Cosplay

I figured that this was the best place to come and request some help. I have a general idea on how I am going to make my cosplay for Hinata (Shippudden) but I am not to sure how to make the jacket. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what fabric would best be used and a pattern that works. The pattern doesn't have to be exact, I am willing to modify, but a reference pattern nonetheless would be wonderful.
