Bluegrass tonight in Cambridge and NYC
The Cantab Lounge in Central Sq, Cambridge (near the post office) has bluegrass every Tuesday night. It's an open mic beginning around 8pm with a featured act at 10pm and more open mic after their set ends, usually 11-ish. For the last bluegrass night of 2004, the featured act is "Frank Drake and Friends", including one of my favorites, Jake Armerding. Some of you may also be familiar with Flynn Cohen. The full band will be: Frank Drake, Flynn Cohen, Jake Armerding, Chris Pandolfi, Zack Hickman, and Andy Hall.

Doors at 7:30pm, looks like Gordon Stone Band is on at midnight. The Lion's Den is at 214 Sullivan Steet, between Bleecker and W 3rd.
