New Years and all that jazz.. with just a dash of sketch
This week has been rather busy! It feels like it flew by!
Wednesday was exciting for a number of reasons!! *besides the obvious of it being new years eve*. Due to my old skates cutting both of my legs open and causing a rather large infection, Byron decided he would buy me a brand new pair of skates; which was VERY thoughtful of him I thought! I can't remember the last time I had a brand new pair of skates!! When I used to skate all the time my parents got me second hand skates, so this was a treat!! :)
Then, we went.... PICK-UP TRUCK SHOPPING!!! Oh, it was the best!! We test drove a brand new 4 door GMC 4X4! I LOVE it!! Byron's going back in a few days to seal the deal... best shopping experience ever! :)
That takes me into the New Years Eve events. Mongolian Grill was delicious as usual! It was awesome to see everybody.. there were so many of us it was hard to make the rounds... but I hope everyone had a terrific new years!! :)
After supper we went back to Byron's complex at Fanshawe and drank.... although some more than others! *wink wink!* lol. Then, we all stumbled out of the house, into a cab, and hit up Victoria park for the count down.
The only sketch that happened to us was when we went to a bar. Lyd was a bit too intoxicated to get in, so we hung around outside thinking of what to do next. When this huge fight broke out! I was a bit worried because Byron tends to not only enjoy bar fights, but get involved in them as well. And, as Jeff put it at dinner "Your boyfriend is so big! I feel like he's going to eat me!" (lol)... yeah, he can do some serious damage; and HAS before, so I didn't want him to par-take. Unfortunitly... he ended up kicking the bouncer in the face with his boot-which now has a huge DENT in it! Then, the cops showed up, and Byron went over and told them what happened. The basic cut of the jib was this girl got thrown down the stairs by a bouncer, and then the chick's bf came to kick the bouncer's ass... and before ya knew it there was this huge pile of people fighting and the girl was on the bottom. (that's why Byron got involved because the girl was being completely crushed and nobody else seemed to care). Anyways.....
Then we went back to Byron's soon after - I was as drunk as a fox while we were downtown! Oh man, that's what I get for drinking the Tequila worm! *shudder!*
New Years Day (aka recovery day) was spent sleeping/lounging at Byron's. I had a lovely lunch at a chinese buffet, and then we rented S.W.A.T. (which I actually REALLY enjoyed!) and Bad Boys 2 (I fell asleep in that one! lol). Then we had a late dinner at Red Lobster.
All in all, I had a great New Years and I hope everyone did too!! :)
I have a fancy dinner to make now, so I best be going!
