berlin is not an easy city to be heartbroken in. it offers you chemical escapes and reinforces your loneliness with ugly bauhaus architecture and endlessly gray weather and nieselregen. people in the train dole out withering looks as often as americans dole out meaningless handshakes and exchange pleasantries. i miss the books i used to read when i was younger that meant so much to me. i miss feeling overwhelmed by love. right now my heart hurts and there aren't any long term solutions.
