So last night I was in a particularly bad funk, feeling really angsty about being at Trinity.
So I woke up this morning with an, "ok, it's a new day, let's move on" attitude. I went to our Blog class blog to read about Lieberman/Lamont stuff, where
this blog was linked to. And then, on the right side of the page, bam! 10 blogs all about Brooklyn,
the top one even featuring a picture of the McCarren Park Pool.
Damn it!
Ok, but in regards to the Jane Hamsher entry,
this is exactly why I have a hard time getting into politics. I really honestly care about political issues....but politics are a game where the issues are a latent side attraction that can sometimes be utilized in the endless mudslinging. I think social change is possible, but if it's happening, the political sphere is going to be the last to catch on.
