It's not dead... yet.
My computer, that is.
It's been really laggy and obnoxious lately, like... hanging with two or three Firefox tabs open or something. And, last night, I was doin' stuff on it and noticed the sound went out. Which is, sadly, not entirely unusual if the computer gets hotter than it should be. And, as it was running at about 42 degrees... Celsius, it's not weird that it went out.
Usually, if I shut the laptop down for a while, let it cool off, the sound'll come back.
I turned my laptop off before I went to bed this morning last night. I turned it on about an hour ago. No sound. It's completely dead. (For now, anyway.)
So... yeah. My computer is unhappy and depressing me at the moment. My sister might be able to help me get a new one, but I don't want a $1,000+ computer. Well, let me rephrase. I don't want to be saddled with paying off a $1,000+ computer; it feels like too much. I'm more comfortable in the $500-$700 range. But, you know, you take what you can get, I guess.
