The turning point came today when we discovered that my aunt is on my side! :O My parents actually listen to her (more than to me anyway), so my father is still concerned but seems a little more open to the idea now.
Anyway, air tickets, I realised that air tickets directly to Osaka may come up to the same as air tickets to Tokyo + train pass to Osaka.
So I'm looking at
1) flight to Osaka: ARR 29 or 30 Dec morning DEP 3 or 4 Jan morning $932
There's Meikido, Mandarake etc at Osaka too! So no loss there. XD But flight transits at HK = waiting at airport. D:
2) fly to Tokyo: ARR 28 Dec afternoon DEP 4 Jan afternoon $725
train to Osaka: 11,500yen = ~$185 (I only need 3 days though? Can I sell back the rest?)
Direct flight. I'll get to wander around Tokyo a bit + see scenery from train and station hop just a little maybe (though will I want to do that in the cold??). Scenery beats waiting at airport? But do I really need to wander around Tokyo?

The Club 8 premiere's so secretive~ XD Will the location be like the club? Will it be a movie~? The premiere's a day before the date they're counting down to on the club 8 site. Will all be revealed then? Or are we set for another round of teasing? XD The latest shadow looks like Ryo.
I... have definitely lost the chance to go for my course this year. T_T It's all fully booked. :( I need to try to plan for a session before next June!!!
Worked alone today. This morning, my client suddenly asked me if any of us left a red umbrella there, showing me said umbrella lying on the table (that I hadn't particularly noticed before, unobservant as I am XP). Waitaminute- Is she saying that it had been lying around for half a year? Because that was when most of us were there previously. O_O
