I don't really have much to say, but I feel like I should update. So let me tell you about the Feist concert I went to on Monday. It was BC Day, so there was this big free concert downtown with one of the guys from the Guess Who, Sarah McLachlan and Feist, among others. Except there were at least fifty thousand people there, so there was no way we were going to get anywhere near the stage. Even with the big video screens they had set up, all I could make out was that Feist had on a white dress, and that was it. She was just a disembodied voice floating out over the crowd. And I didn't even get to hear the whole thing because mom got cold and wanted to go. But I know she sang the following:
When I Was a Young Girl
Mushaboom
My Moon, My Man
The Limit to Your Love
I Feel It All
Did I?
How my Heart Behaves
1, 2, 3, 4 (aka the ipod song)
Gatekeeper
Not to worry though, because I have pics from someone sitting much closer than I was, via
their Flickr. Also,
Bootlog has links to several live songs, which is worth a look if you like what you hear.
1, 2, 3, 4 live on David Letterman accompanied by members of Broken Social Scene and various others:
