Summer Doldrums
Summer is going alright I guess. Not much has happened really. My mom was supposed to come see me this week, but it turns out that she had to be admitted to the hospital today. They thought she had Meningitis so they did a spinal tap on her (ouch) but luckily it is not meningitis. It turns out she has some sort of inner ear virus and any sort of movement makes her not feel very good at all. It probably didn’t help that she had a spinal tap done either. I may end up flying up there to see her instead in the next few weeks. I am glad that she will be alright though, I was worried about her.
My birthday is in a few weeks, but it doesn’t seem that special. Being 20 won’t be that different from being 19. I don’t know, maybe I will do something. I have wanted to go backpacking for a long time now, maybe I will do that. i just have to get a pack first. Maybe it will be a birthday present to myself.
Altaire is living in San Francisco now. It is nice that she lives close enough to see more than a couple times a year now. I've missed that girl a lot since summer.
anywho, work tomorrow so I am off to bed.
