Politics
I love politics. I mean I'm interested in alot of subjects, but I just feel so happy and such when I'm talking about politics. I don't know, there's just something about it. There is always something going on, its always changing, and it can be applied to nearly anything in life. I would love to do something with politics in my life. I just don't know what's out there to do with it. And that breaks my heart. Everytime I turn around, people are always saying, don't major in that, its a fluff major, its a joke, or you can't do anything with it. But its not. Its serious and it affects so many different things. I want to help it affect things in a positve way. So people don't hate politics, so we don't have to think the worst of our politicians and governement, so that we can have a certain level of trust in the system, so that we can actually get down to the issues instead of "well i'm a better person than you". I don't want to be in it for fame or power or money. I just want to help out, make a difference and know that at the end of the day, that I've done something to help make the world a better place, if only slightly. Am I too optimistic? Too naive? I know I'd commit political suicide, that the political games would kill me before I got to age 30, but I would be happy. Isn't that what its all about?
