Christmas was abnormal, but all the same, nice, considering the level of dread I had originally latched onto the thought of spending most of it alone. Though turns out I was able stay at Allie's, to accompany her in the day.
Full Report: I woke up at 7:30, by my mental alarm, only to feel a certain sadness. I miss what Christmas used to be. When you were young, awaiting this special day. You wake up early in the morning, with that certain spirit lifting the air. You run downstairs to see what Santa got you, and that's when all despair vanishes...you just smile. All is okay. Well, yesterday made me realize how I've grown out of all that. My maturity has brought along knowledge of what this Holiday truly represents, and its too bad. Whatever. So, I got out of bed and joined my mother downstairs, where we traded gifts and ate some granola, yogurt, and fruit.
Presents: 1. Lavender Bra. 2. Black Tights. 3. iPod Shuffle. 4. Portable DVD/CD player. 5. Bottle Of Nag Champa Oil. 6. Navy Blue/Purpley High Top Converse. 7. Dark Purple Shirt with embroidered Om. 8. Meditation Journal. 9. Red/purple/maroon/dark pink+ design, socks from Mexicali.(10. Plus a beautiful amethyst necklace/ Painted Wooden Box from Elijah)
Continuation Of Full Report: At 12, I headed over to Allie's house, where I received disgusted looks from her grandmother/ welcoming looks from her grandfather, Josie, and Nick. After giving my gifts to Allie, Nick, Josie, Max, and Molly, Josie insisted on me sitting down, only to give me a ton of stuff.
Presents From Josie, Nick, and Allie: 1. Different Brand Of Nag Champa Oil. 2. Calligraphy Kit. 3. Pastels/Note Pad 4. Purple Scarf. 5. Neon Orange Major Fish Net Tights. 6. Neon Green Major Fish Net Tights. 7. Purple Tights.
Continuation Of Full Report: Allie and I decided to attempt to escape the smokey downstairs, therefore headed upstairs where we watched The Little Mermaid 2. At the end of the movie, my dad called me from Anchorage(Alaska), saying he was eating fluffy croissants, and singing silly songs with Jennifer(girlfriend), Indigo(2nd daughter), and Jennifer's parents. It momentarily brought me down because he reminded me that this was the first Christmas ever that we had not spent together...*sigh*. Anyways, he's gonna arrive today, soonish. Within the hour.
Allie and I became a bit bored, so we decided to get all made up in tons of makeup.(Though I hate to say this...makeup makes me feel pretty for once.)We changed our clothes(I was in purple tights, Mexicali socks, multi colored leg warmers, Christmas tree boxers, and neon orange tank top + I put my hair in a half ponytail)(Allie was in her snow flake pj pants, and gray tank top with push up bra + hair down in that sexy manner of its). Then we whipped out the digital camera and started taking a bajilion whore pictures, which was super exciting. Some pictures on her ladder, some on her bed, some in her shower, some on the washing machine, some on her saddle, some in her bath tub...yeah, it was amazing, and you wish you were there to witness our Woahness. When we were done, we headed downstairs to eat dinner. I put on my rainbowness jeanish jacket...so when everyone saw that max was wearing a tie dye shirt, and had his hair all long and purple/orange, they all forced us to get a picture taken together because we looked like a couple(except for the two foot difference).
Dinner was spectacular. Allie and I had this meatless chicken stuff instead of Turkey. Plus I had mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpernickel bread with butter, cranberry sauce, and salmon. Yummy. We also attempted to have grown upy conversation...merely using big silly words and trying to copy the phrases the big people were using. It was so damn amazing...though Max and Sophie(Max's lover friend) were looking at us as if we were insane...silly...Allie and I, insane? Noo, couldn't be...
After dinner and champagne we all went upstairs to watch Winnie The Pooh(Yeah, I sorta brought all these Disney Movies to Allie's house because we are overly
obsessive ).Mid way through we stopped to have Pecan/Pumpkin Pie+Mint Tea.
At about 11:30, Allie and I went to sleep. Turns out she gets allergy problems when sleeping in the loft, so though I felt lonely and missed my dear Allie, it was so comfortable to have this whole mattress to myself, with 4 warm blankets, darkness, and the sound of rain softly pattering against the sky light.
My dreams that night were broad and crazy though joyful. When I awoke at 10, all I could do, resting underneath the cozy warmth, was think about Sam and Elijah. Love. All of it. Sparks of Life...
The End.
