Best Cat Ever
Last night Sam and I experienced something no one should ever have to deal with. I heard a noise from the other room and asked Sam what the noise was. She didn't realize there was a noise going on so I got up to examine further and then we both realized that our beautiful, loving, loyal cat Gus was choking to death on our kitchen floor. I tried reaching in his mouth to lodge whatever was out of his throat but there was nothing there. We tried getting to the vet in time but there was nothing we could do. It was a sad night. It will continue to be a sad night without Gus.
Gus really was the best cat you'd ever meet in your life. A stranger or long time friend would show up at our house and immediately be greeted by him. It didn't matter if you were allergic to cats or hated them; he'd make you love him. Gus would follow us around the house and never let us sleep but that predictability made him the best ever.
A parent is never supposed to choose favorites and we have three other animals in our lovely home; but Gus was my favorite and I will always love him.
