Those roosters in particular were awesome. Every time we'd get close, they'd come up to us like as to say "don't fuck with our bar."

I used to have a pet rooster as a kid named "Delicious." (No joke.) We had this really long driveway and whenever anyone would walk up it, the rooster would sprint up to the person and attack. My best friend was afraid to come over and would always carry a stick to beat the rooster off. It was pretty funny.

One time my mom was attacked by a rooster when she tried to take me to ballet class.

No. She managed to defend herself by whacking it with her purse.

You know, I didn't really care for Dublin nearly as much as the smaller towns. It seemed like Dublin and Cork in particular, because they are so large and industrial were a little drab and depressing compared to the smaller towns. But it's quite possible I didn't give Dublin a good of a look as I should have.

We don't plan on staying in one spot for too long. I'm sure we'll see more than just Dublin if that's where we end up. Where did you guys stay? Any good tips for while we're there?

Another thing to note about Dublin is that it's easily the most expensive place to stay. Even the shitty hotels (like we had) are expensive. We stayed in B+B's for most of the trip. We went to Kilkenny, Cork (I'd avoid Cork), Kilarney (very touristy), Limerick (we didn't even see this town as we heard it was underwheming and it appeared to be so), Galway (my favorite and the best B+B we had and Trim (it was close to the airport!).
