ponder ponder ponder...
I'm thinking about doing a major purchase... a scooter. Specifically, a Vespa. They look like a hell of a lot of fun to ride, and... 70 MPG! The thing is... there are better things I could be doing with my money than having two vehicles. Buying a house is one of said things. If I was to completely switch to the Vespa and ditch the Element, the savings on gas and insurance would be somewhere north of two thousand dollars a year, certainly not chump change. However... I then would not have a regular car. There is a nifty little thing around ASU called ZipCar that's a sort of express car rental service... I dunno. I keep bouncing things around in my head and am really not sure which direction to go. Any ideas?
