Started a Fire Again
Things that rock:
-chocolate.
-Getting off work early on a long weekend.
-Getting a paid freelance writing gig out of the blue (more details when I get final confirmation).
-Reconnecting with old friends.
-arts and crafts!!
-flax seed pillows. Boy, do these work well as heating pads!
-Judging a speech tournament for the first time in ages.
-Rusty (possibly) getting his stitches out this week?
-Celebrating the holdays with friends and family...and not having to fly to get there.
Things that don't:
-Hoping my stepmom limits her drunken tirades tomorrow.
Things that are just weird:
-Rusty still thinks the red litterbox is a bed. This started when we replaced the litter with newspaper for a few days after his surgery like his vet suggested. But now that I've switched the newspaper with environmentally friendly "Swheat Scoop" it hasn't seemed to change.
