The hills the other day when the fire was just across the freeway. This is about 2 miles, maybe less from our apartment.
This morning's sunrise... And this isn't even smoke from our fire, this is smoke from the San Diego fires!
The same hills as the first photo, only now from a distance of 2-3 miles. The fires are now in the second row of hills, and the first row, which you saw in the earlier photo, is all burnt.
The red sun that greeted me as I came out of work...
