Writer's Block: You and me and baby makes three
I think that a large majority of the world population has their head in the sand about just how many people are populating the Earth and what it takes to house and feed those billions.
Many people have the attitude that if a family has the financial means, that it is no one else's business how many children they have. I think that that is incredibly short-sighted. That is that many more people who will be joining alreading nightmarish commutes. Like your view? Tough, we need to build more houses. Most resources are not infinite people. Why are we racing toward oblivion in a hand-basket of consumerism and denial? Children don't just cost a family money they cost the planet in resources.
