So, yeah, okay, I'm Back!
Found a fandom on here, Person of Interest, joined, Tainry, probably some hot slashy male fic of that sort you like there! lol
I talked to a John Parker on the phone the other day, so I sent an office e-mail to my fellow geek saying, "Should I have asked him how Buckaroo Banzai is doing?" (It's okay if you don't get it!)
He pops back, saying that I'm referencing a geek movie in which he is deficient! I'm like, what, geek deficiency? I wasn't aware there was such a thing! (We talk about Dr Who, he's always got a quote on his status line.)
So I ask him about my other top geek movies, Big Trouble In Little China, Flash Gordon and Real Genius. He loves Flash Gordon, and, like me and my geek homies, has Real Genius just about memorized! (Ick, you were just kidding about the ice exploding, right? Ick?? ICK??!!??? )
But! Says he never paid much attention to Big Trouble In LIttle China, and I'm all like, oh, no, only one of the GREATEST...MOVIES...EVER!!!!
So I don't know if that will rule him out as a future mate if something happens to my current hubby... hahahahaha!
