[giggle] Thanks. This was my first time writing them, too. So I'm glad you liked. Huh... Mal/Simon. I've only read one Mal/Simon fic and it was a crack!Vamp fic. I think it involved Simon wanting to rent River out to birthday parties, him and Mal having sex in the med bay, and him asking Mal if he could keep Jayne as a food slave because he was a good vampire that didn't kill people. lol.

That was really beautiful, and I loved the way you wrote him as being in denial. The fact that he doesn't consider them related makes it even more believable that he would act on his feelings for her. This was expertly written. Good job.
