Haha, you sound like me watching the season finale this week....there was screaming. And my poor Mom, who doesn't watch the show, was subject to it. :) Thank you for the super fun and upbeat review! <3

I don't know where to start with this!!! Seeing Sam so excited, made me smile from ear to ear. Reading about Gabe again was a pleasure and seeing Dean so protective about Cas around Ralph made me proud! Can't believe what Cas' brothers are planning. We all may hate Michael but still. I know Gabe don't care but Cas needs to tell him.

The end had made me sigh, the way Dean and Cas make sure Sam is settled for the night before Dean made sure Cas got some sleep - just perfect.

This has become one of my favorite chapters.

Oh wow, thank you! It's def fun to try to write them in NYC. It's kind of forced me to really think about Cas's clan. I've been trying to build toward this segment for a long time and I'm super happy you like it!

And yes...I just like cuddly boys, haha. And since this is my story and my journal I can make them snuggle all I want. :)

Dean and Sam were completely endearing in their different reactions!

Cas has me totally terrified about his family, because they really could easily destroy all of them if they wanted to. I hope there's a change coming in his family. Someone has got to develop a heart. I loved those little glimpses into Cas' life that were good. There's always some little nugget of good in any screwed up situation, isn't there? Cas was smart enough not to let it hold him back.

Love this, looking forward to the next bit--and yeah for fast updates! :)

Hi there!!!! Thanks for the awesome review!!! And without spoiling anything, I can safely say that I've longed-planned this installment to be the start of a new arc for the Morgan clan. Papa out of the picture is a game changer. I"ve been looking forward to developing Cas's family more, and playing Sam and Dean off them.

Fingers crossed I can keep the fast updates going...no school for awhile!

Great chapter; I'm all tense now.

I love how Sam is taking charge of the details--anticipating what Cas and Dean will need and making it happen with no fuss. He's obviously so much better.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thank you! One of the things I love about show!Sam is what a nerd he is...I relate all too well. That side of him is always fun to watch, and it's great fun to write. :)

I love the Winchester's. Sam has such a child's heart that everything is exciting for him and I loved Dean's response to his junk food treat that it tasted like childhood. I love that they will become a wall to protect Cas from his conniving brother's. Poor Cas, Rafael truly frightens me. His presence sent shivers up my spine but Cas stood firm and would not be intimidated by him. It will be interesting to finally meet Lou as he has been spoken about with such mixed emotions. I am looking forward to what Michael will do when he realizes he's been duped by Ralph and Lou. I think we will all hear the explosion when it happens. Hurry, don't wait too long to post the next chapter!

Hi there! Thanks for the review! To be honest, at this point, I'm actually a little nervous about bringing Lou in. I know people have wanted to see him, but it's hard to bring the great charm Mark Pelligrino brought to the role. Fingers crossed!

Glad you liked Ralph! Or rather, didn't like Ralph. I felt like he had little brother syndrome on the show. Also, his lady version was super hot and kick-ass. I was kinda sad when Cas nuked her.
