This chapter did not disappoint, despite being a short interlude. It gave great perspective into Sam's headspace and how even a smart person can be drawn into doing the wrong thing for supposedly the right reasons. Sam needed relief from his pain, and Brady gave it to him when he was vulnerable. Bad, bad, bad Brady!

omg, that was just horrific! It's a scary trail downwards for such a simple want, just to have some peace from grieving. We all feel this way when something terrible happens--we just want to get away for a bit. Poor Sam, he just had no control over that desire. :(
