I hope this 'verse never ends, I love it so much. The stories are always so interesting and moving, and I'm always touched by your characters. Another great job.

Wow. This was stunning. Makes me want to go back and read the whole thing all over again.

I'm having trouble remembering. Was this the "big" blow-up between John and Sam, or does that come later? I'm thinking it happened later and involved head trauma, etc...

Guess I'll have to read it again! ;)

Awww... Sammy broke my heart when he confided in Jim that he figured one day his father was going to kill him. Loved the hurtSammy though - what a sweetie - and the conflicted yet protective Dean.

What a hard choice he's made, to stay with their father although that is in direct conflict with his desire to protect his brother, because by staying with John, he is leaving his brother open to getting hurt again. There is just no way that Dean can always be there - as much as he would want to. But, in this case, he has chosen his father over his brother. Poor guys.
