(no subject)
So very tired all the time as of late. We have a new Assistant General Manager at the place I work. He is a pain in my ass and I now have two needy men jockying for the position of getting me to do shit for them. I have no problem following requests, I like to be asked, though, and not told. I don't think this is too much to ask.
My boyfriend's mom is in town, probably going to dinner with her tonight. Last night I was kind of worried because my daughter picked up her DS again, after 3 months of not using it, and took it to dinner with us. She was glued to the thing for most of the evening (when she wasn't eating or talking about band). I do give her a lot of space to be who she is, but I had to put my foot down and let her know that playing that thing, while we're trying to include her in conversation, can be considered rude.
Lots of neat stuff to want for X-mas. I'm especially happy about the return of the Cloche hat. I have loved that style for many years and have heretofore had a horribly hard time trying to find a nice one. So far I have found a crocheted one that looks good and a felt one that looks good. The crocheted one, oddly enough, looked better than the felt one. Hopefully I get one or the other for X-mas. My hair is styled such that a Cloche hat looks really neat on me (bob with the ends that curl forward).
