I just really loved this chapter. I've been waiting to find out what was going on with Lithuania for a long time, and this really did live up to all my expectations. And you did an incredibly good job writing him and America together, really. I loved how their personalities played off of each other, how America was sort of torn on how to deal with him, the story of Lithuania's backstory, all of it. Russia's ideology, too, just made so much sense, and fits him incredibly well, I think. I really liked the viewpoint into the "villains" you gave us here, and I just thought you characterized Lithuania perfectly. The hints of romance were just perfect, too, subtle but strong, and Lithuania is honestly just so cute about Poland I can't get over it.

And America, god, I was so in love with America in this chapter. And Lithuania's reactions to him, and just everything. I loved the dream that Lithuania brought up, and America's response was just so . . . America I had to smile. And the little moments where he thought it would be nice to travel the world with someone he cared for, and England, oh, god, England. He wasn't in it much, but he was so himself, and so adorable, that I just melted. His anger, and then when he folded his arms over his clothes--just oh, England. Of course he would sublimate it into rage.

But the highlight of this chapter was definitely the America and Lithuania interaction, and the insight into Russia as well, I think. I was also intrigued by the further growth we got to see in America's moral compass, as to whether or not he would turn Lithuania in, and then the promise to protect him. I worry for America in this, but I'm proud of him, as well, as he grows into an independent sense of what it is to be a hero, I think.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

You've done it again. So much love for this chapter.
