I have ALL THE FEELINGS about this episode. By which I mostly mean all the tears.
Let's keep it short, and I might get back to it later:
- This episode is - for me, at least - this series' emotional equivalent of Vincent and the Doctor.
- Midway through, I had this irrational fear of Rory dying for good in this episode. Because: Rory is the best and if there's one thing that will ever break Amy for good it's if something happens to Rory and it's permanent.
- Karen Gillan is amazing. Her bodylanguage as older!Amy is so, so different and. oh. just perfect.
- The Doctor is the worst. But Rory knows that now, and the Doctor was reminded of his own worstness, in case he ever forets. As were the viewers. So I guess that's good? (On the other hand, Matt Smith is fantastic.)
- I want to marry Rory Williams. (Or Arthur Darvill. Since he's pretty damn great in this. And I'm not that picky.)
- ALL THE TEARS.
- AGH NEXT WEEK WILL BE ALL THE NIGHTMARES.
