Restitution and Resurrection.
So I stumbled upon this old thing after....about two years of non-usage.
How odd.
Do any of you still use this thing?
..and I haven't seen most of you in...months. If not since the day we graduated.
If I have seen you since then, you can probably thank my brief stint at american eagle for that one. (Does about six months qualify as a "stint"?)
I visited a few old entries...and a few I knew specific time frames for. I re-read old posts...relived some dramaful times...and I was able to laugh about it--especially from bird's eye view of sorts.
So, I began to remember (not that i've forgotten!) how different high school is from college....
and I've really realized that those lyrics apply to me...you know the ones that go "I ain't changed, but I know I ain't the same."
I know, however, that I have changed. Mostly for the better, I believe.
Seriously.
Sometimes, I'll remember something I did in high school, or something I said...or things I even thought at the time...and I will smack my head and pray no one else remembers it, too.
It really interests me to see where everyone has ended up...all the transfers, moving back home, the success, the failure, the growth...
I know I've had plenty of the above. all of it has really helped me realize a lot of things...outside the high school brainwash we all had. I'm thinking for myself...and I love it. I love learning...and every day is a learning experience.
