UAB...UAH...it's all the same....oh wait...it's not.
Yeah. I'm really confused. I (very very recently--like last week recently) got offered a half-tuition scholarship to UAB to play in their band...and I'm really having a tough time deciding which school to go to. I honestly don't really feel led to either one of them more than the other--and I've been praying and researching and crying and getting stress headaches...AHHH! I don't know what to dooooo. I don't know where to goooo. So yes, pray for me...I have orientation Thursday and Friday at UAH...so that'll pretty much be the deciding factor. (Actually, deciding factor will be when AHS sends my transcripts (if they ever do) to UAB and I get back my academic scholarship information...I could have most of UAB paid for...) Like I said, pray please.
In other news...I got a new flute. It's really really pretty. It's a "Soloist" by Emerson--their new line of flutes. It's sterling silver, gold (and engraved) lip plate. It's brand spankin new, and it's GORGEOUS. And ommmmg it sounds so good. Not that my other flute doesn't sound great, but just the few changes I made on my new flute as far as the gold and different brand, makes a huge difference. I won't go into detail, but it is beautiful.
Andrew and I are doing rather well. Almost seven months now? What? Whoa. Definitely my longest standing relationship--hehheh...I guess you can call that sad if you want...just thought I'd update you all. :D (oh and, we're NOT engaged--thanks Tim and Chris...)
I've already started making new friends this summer--and it's awesome! And the girls I've become friends with...there wasn't a big "get to know you" session...we just clicked and have been shopping/watching movies and all kinds of stuff since then. It's awesome! I have the coolest (and a very broad range, I might say) group of friends ever. *grin*
Anyway kiddos, just thought I'd drop a line and make sure you all knew I still exist. :)
Call me if you wanna do summmn.
I'm up for most anything.
And I'm jealous of Kenny's Godzilla night. I think that would've been flippin awesome ;)
