A week ago this morning, the house down the block and around the corner from mine that we called "Columbia house" was burning.

I'm glad everyone is safe, but the loss, man, hugs to all.

Wow. That's really awful. I'm sure a community will re-form itself somewhere but it'll certainly be a change, and stressful and difficult for the displaced people. I'm glad you could help.

You haven't missed the concerts, and you should come! I'm going to post about it tomorrow or the next day, I hope, and I'm going to say that I'm especially excited about the Precinct lineup in the earlier part of the evening:

6:00 -- Laura Cortese (Valerie is in Laura's band, it's 3 fiddles + cello)

7:00 -- Ginger Ibex
