Meditation on patience
So I was reading Jen's blog over at http://symphonic729.blogspot.com and thought the most recent post (pertaining to patience and inspiration among other things) needed a companion spot somewhere.

But after three attempts to write one, I really have nothing to add except that I agree, and you can make the argument that, "yes, taking a break from your art can give you a fresh perspective" and, "no, patience is not a virtue, artists need to live in the moment." I then went on to make the argument that inspiration comes when it chooses to come, so just like Texas Hold'em it's best to just sit on it until that one bit of magic comes along. Ultimately, I have nothing to add. Just read hers and dig it.
