FINALLY been out there, and it's surpisingly nice.
The scenery is gorgeous, and if I'm given free reign to set the lab up as I want it, it would be perfect.
Except for the travel costs. Money is tight right now, and it seems I'll have to fork out over a hundred quid on travel a month, whereas I'm currently walking to work for free. I can't really afford it, given my finances. Worse, if I go with the guy I trust, my travel will cost TWICE that.
Bugger.
Hoping to negotiate a partial travel subsidy at least, or I'm back on the own brand noodles.
Every time I raise a question I'm told 'we'll figure something out'
